01

The challenge

Create More Value From the Guest Experience

Bowling brings friends, families, groups, and parties together. Those visits create opportunities for memorable photos and feedback, but they can be difficult to capture without a dedicated process.

Before BuzzyBooth, Rab’s did not have an established way to collect customer contacts, request reviews, or gather guest-created media through an on-site photo experience. It wanted a photo experience customers would enjoy that could also capture those interactions.

02

The solution

An Entrance Photo Kiosk Featuring AI Photos

Rab’s placed BuzzyBooth at the entrance, where guests could create photos during their visit. The experience included creative AI photos, which the Rab’s team particularly appreciated.

The guest-facing activity also introduced a way to collect customer contacts and request reviews. It connected something visitors could enjoy with information and feedback the business could use beyond that visit.

  • Give guests a photo experience they can use to remember their visit.
  • Collect customer contact information through the BuzzyBooth experience.
  • Make review requests part of the guest journey.

66,200 Guest Media Captures

Over four years, Rab’s Bowling recorded 66,200 media captures through BuzzyBooth—an average of about 16,550 per year or 1,379 per month.

This measures content creation, not unique visitors. A guest can create more than one media item, so the total should not be read as the number of customers served. It does show sustained use of the on-site photo experience.

29,424 Customer Contacts Captured

BuzzyBooth recorded 29,424 customer contacts over the same four-year period. Rab’s had not previously collected contacts through this kind of experience.

Contact collection creates an opportunity for future communication, subject to applicable consent and privacy requirements. The dashboard total shows contacts captured; it does not establish how many returned or generated additional revenue.

Result 3

758 Reviews Captured

Rab’s BuzzyBooth dashboard recorded 758 reviews captured over four years. The kiosk gave the venue a process for requesting feedback as part of the guest experience.

That number is a dashboard metric. Without additional supporting data, it should not be interpreted as a verified increase in public review count or search rankings.

For the industry

What Bowling Center Operators Can Learn

Rab’s experience shows how an enjoyable on-site activity can support several engagement goals at once. Its four-year dashboard recorded guest-created media, contacts, and reviews through one entrance experience.

Results will vary with each venue’s guest participation, implementation, and promotion. The reported figures demonstrate recorded activity, not incremental business growth.

  • Make the experience enjoyable for guests with creative photo options.
  • Connect participation with contact collection, with appropriate consent.
  • Build a clear process for requesting customer reviews.
We added BuzzyBooth 5 years ago and our guests absolutely love it. What’s been really valuable for us is building a database of over 30,000 customer contacts that we can reach out to for promotions.
