How Lips earned 230 reviews in less than four months
Lips made the review request a consistent part of the night—without asking the show team to remember another task.

The challenge
A memorable show did not automatically become a public review
Lips had spent decades creating a night guests remembered, but asking every table for a review was inconsistent. The team did not have review software in place, and manual follow-up was not practical during a live dinner show.
For a venue discovered through Google, Yelp, and Facebook, that gap mattered. Lips needed a repeatable way to hear from happy guests while the experience was still fresh.
“We didn’t really have review software in place to help us generate reviews.”
The approach
The photo guests wanted made the follow-up possible.
BuzzyBooth replaced the roaming photographer with a self-serve branded photo experience. Guests entered their contact information to receive their photos, giving Lips permission to follow up after the show.
The review request went out automatically. Lips could also use the same opted-in audience for event announcements and promotions instead of rebuilding a list for every campaign.
- Guests created a branded photo during the show.
- They opted in to receive it by text or email.
- A review request followed automatically.

The results
Reviews kept arriving after the curtain closed.
Reviews began arriving across Google, Yelp, and Facebook. In less than four months, Lips attributed 230 positive reviews to the BuzzyBooth flow.
The same guest moments generated more than 4.4 million social impressions and helped Lips collect more than 21,000 contacts for future event promotion.
From the team
“BuzzyBooth is one of the best review systems we’ve seen. We don’t have to do anything; everything is pretty much automated.”
